People who have a Sky Drive account beforehand can take advantage of those applications, but the difference is these specific platforms within Office are greatly enhanced in 365. The Web apps are also known for their consistency in terms of the retaining the format of your documents.

Of course, it is important to maintain your subscription. If your subscription has a reprieve, then you may need to use alternative software to edit your files. Of course you can use Google Docs should this happen, but online storage of files using the 365 platform per se will greatly maximize your capacities in file sharing and file editing.
